I have to tell you about this website....I’ve been meaning to for a few days now.
I stumbled across it via someone else’s posts on a blog.
It's called “Real Aberdeen, The Worst Driving In The UK”.
On there, blog posts and photos of some of the worst examples of driving and parking as caught by, well, whoever is responsible for the website.
The most recent post focusing on a Sclattie Crescent in Newhills where a motorbike chained to a lamppost and a car parked on the kerb immediately beside, means you have to cross the road because you can’t get past, and it’s not just stuff like that.
People parked in bus lanes, at junctions, videos of bad driving in and around Aberdeen.
The works.
Makes you think twice before you go and throw the motor in any old place at the supermarket next time....which by the way happens to be a big bugbear of mine.
The people who park in handicapped spaces that aren’t handicapped, and those who park in the parent and toddlers spots because it’s closer, and there’s less to walk to the front door....but they don’t have any kids. Grrrr.
Anyway, have a look.
One thing. I thought it was illegal to post actual registrations anywhere, but maybe that’s just in newspapers - what do I know.
You'll find the site here

Hi, thanks for the review, glad you like the site!
I hope you are right that the site will make more people think twice about their driving/motoring skills around Aberdeen and the north east. Having witnessed so many of these things personally however I doubt that this alone will do it!
I invite contributions from any members of the public to keep adding to it.
With regards to the publishing of number plates, I read up on this to a fair extent before deciding that we would go ahead with this. My understanding from what I've found is that as far as imaging goes as long as they are taken from a public place it's legal(like CCTV somewhat).
I will publish numbers, photos and dates from any contributer, anonymously if required to highlight these idiots.
The standards in Aberdeen are the worst I've ever witnessed in my 13 years of driving and 30 years of life in general! I'm hoping to get roadscan cameras for the current authors' cars to catch even more nonsense in future!
Finally, thanks very much for the boost in numbers in the last couple of days! I appreciate it!
