It’s Dave Parsons birthday today.
He’s 45, and you’re probably wondering who the hell is Dave Parsons?
He’s exactly the sort of guy that would turn up in the mystery musician round in Buzzcocks.
He played guitar in Transvision Vamp.
Woah. Wendy James.
There was every teenage boy’s fantasy girl right there, back in the late 80’s.
Which is why Dave Parsons would be an impossible mystery musician round guest.
No bloke even knew she was in a band.
There could have been a holocaust taking place in the background of the video and we wouldn’t have noticed.
But it's been a while...more years than I care to remember, so I thought, I wonder if she would still appeal.....or is it going to be a classic case of 'a teenage thing'.

Wendy was a cracker and I love Transvision Vamp, they are from the love em or hate em brigade and all my mates thought I was mad until they saw Wendy strutting her stuff.
